We collect information you choose to provide when you search for a professional, request service, create a provider profile, apply for verification, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, property location, requested service, transaction purpose, preferred timing, company information, license information, service areas, profile photo, and account details.
We may also collect basic technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, and approximate location derived from an IP address.
How we use information
We use information to match customers with relevant professionals, deliver service requests, operate provider accounts, review credentials, communicate request updates, provide support, prevent misuse, improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
When information is shared
When you request service, we share the request details with the professional you select and, if you choose a fallback match, with the next selected professional. Professionals may provide license information, insurance details, certificates, and other supporting documents for verification. These documents are kept private and are available only to authorized Pros to Close administrators and the professional who uploaded them. We also use service providers that help us host the site, store information, authenticate users, and deliver communications. They may process information only to provide those services.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect people or the platform, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money.
Provider profiles
Approved provider profiles are intended to be public. A public profile may display a provider’s name, company, profession, service areas, services, experience, availability, description, profile photo, verification status, and other business information the provider submits for publication. Private account and request information is not displayed as part of the public profile.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain transaction and verification records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. Providers can update profile information through their account. Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Children’s privacy
Pros to Close is intended for adults involved in real estate transactions and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
